Whitewood – Upacara pengumuman pemenang dan pemberian penghargaan ajang musik bergengsi tahunan Grammy Awards yang ke-61 baru saja berlangsung pada 10 Februari 2019, di Staples Center di Los Angeles, Amerika Serkat dengan penyanyi dan penulis lagu Alicia Keys menjadi pembawa acara.
Musisi Hiphop Childish Gambino dan penyanyi Country Kacey Musgraves menjadi musisi yang paling banyak membawa pulang piala penghargaan Grammy Awards tahun ini.
Selain itu di ajang ini juga tampil sejumlah musisi termasuk kolaborasi Red Hot Chilli Peppers dengan Post Malone yang membawakan tiga lagu “Stay”, “Rockstar” dan “Dark Necessities”. Penyanyi H.E.R. yang akan tampil di Java Jazz Festival 2019 juga tampil di Grammy Awards dengan membawakan singlenya “Hard Place”.
Sementara penyanyi Country legendaris Dolly Parton mendapat kehormatan sebagai MusiCares Person of the Year dua hari sebelum Grammy Awards pada 8 Februari 2019.
